WHO CAN APPLY?

We're looking for Rutgers undergraduates from all class years to join our team! Candidates should be ready to commit 2-4 hours per week.

DO I HAVE TO BE A BAIT or Tech-Related MAJOR?

Not at all! We're always eager to welcome individuals from diverse backgrounds who can offer fresh perspectives to our club. In the past, we've had members from a wide range of majors, including psychology, sustainability, education, health administration, statistics, accounting, economics, marketing, computer science, and many others!

What is BITS' culture?

Can BITS' Board members benefit from initiatives they run?

Absolutely! While many of our members have collaborated with our partner companies or gained valuable insights from our events, that's not the main reason they joined BITS. People dedicate their time and energy to BITS because they want to be part of a community that's transforming the business and technology culture at Rutgers into something even more meaningful, enjoyable, and inclusive for every student. The more diverse and multi-faceted this culture becomes, the richer the experience for everyone involved.

how can i benefit from bits?

BITS offers a strong alumni network across top companies, providing connections for mentorship, internships, and career advice. You’ll also develop in-demand technical and analytical skills through hands-on projects and workshops, which are valuable for your resume

Do I need experience to join?

We have committees to suit students at every experience level! For example, the Events, Newsletter, Marketing, and Corporate Relations committees are great for those with little or no experience, while the Tech and Web Development committees are ideal for students with some knowledge of technology applications. The experience required depends on the specific committee and role you're applying for. Check out the Application Process page for details on the experience level each committee is seeking!
